Nile World Music was formed by Ian James to promote his instrumental music.
He learnt the guitar when he was twelve and keyboards in his twenties. It was around this time when Ian began writing and recording music.
In 1995 Ian was invited to include his biographical details for inclusion in the first ever edition of the international who’s who in music volume 2 popular music.
In 1997 he recorded his first new age album “Spirit of the Nile” and released it on his own label.
His latest album “Pathfinder” is a Celtic album telling the story of a traveller arriving in the Devon town of Totnes and then making his way down the coast finally arriving at St Michaels Mount in corn wall. Extracts from the album are now available on the “Music and Podcast” page of this site.
